Fight Work
Hadley is an Advanced Actor/Combatant and a Probationary Teacher and with the BADC (British Academy of Dramatic Combat). As of 2020, he was elected to sit on the BADC committee as Research and Development officer and Apprentice/Probationary Teacher representative.
Having achieved his BADC Advanced qualifications with Distinction, he has applied this skill into both performance and choreography of stage combat. He has appeared in a number of productions which involved fights, has worked as a stand alone fight performer and is an experienced fight captain. Some highlights include: appearing multiple times on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown as Jimmy Carr's body double and playing the role of the Military Champion prize fighter for Dank Parish's immersive experience at the Legitimate Peaky Blinders Festival.
Hadley's choreography work includes the Young Shakespeare Company, Sh*t-faced Shakespeare, Erasmus Theatre, Theatre Tewl, Jermyn Street Theatre and many more.

Performance
Hadley has been training in stage combat since 2014 and has his BADC Advanced qualifications with distinction in 8 weapon systems. On top of this, he has performed in multiple productions as a fight/stunt performer and has extensive body doubling experience. He is also an experienced fight captain and choreographer. Choreography
Hadley has a variety of experience choreographing and directing violence for stage and screen. His passion for historical combat and weaponry is reflected in his choreography and aims to bring the reality of violence into his work. A moment of physical conflict is often the climax of a scene or story and therefore he aims to help the actors find the intention behind the moves and allow them to be a truthful part of the character's journey. As a working actor himself, he understands that often simply knowing how to perform the technique isn't always enough.

Hadley is a Probationary Teacher with the British Academy of Dramatic Combat (BADC), having trained under Master Teacher Jess Hrabowsky of True Edge Stage Combat.
In 2019, he was elected onto the BADC committee as Research and Development Officer and as the Apprentice/Probationary Teacher representative. He proudly holds the position and is currently helping to implement the BADC's new syllabus.
